Are you ready to take on a challenge? We are looking for a leader for a very busy resort in Port Douglas!
You will need to have passion and creativity to lead the functions team for a high volume of clientele. Working closely with the team from prep to execution of all events, you will also be responsible menu upgrades and costings.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR SOUS CHEF:
- Leadership in developing and delivering through a small team
- Knowledge of wide range of cooking practices
- Trade qualifications are essential
- Strong WH&S and food safety awareness
- Roster and food cost experience
- Must be available days, nights, weekends and split shifts on a rotating roster.
