Our operation provides you with the opportunity to live locally and go home every day or stay in our Village for your roster and DIDO. We are only 130kms from Perth’s CBD and approximately 100kms from the coast. You will work an 8:6:7:7 roster so there will be plenty of time to enjoy the lifestyle this area can offer you.
What you will be doing
As part of the maintenance team in the wet plant of our large processing facility, you will be required to monitor and maintain the equipment to assist us to achieve our safe milling production target of 40MTPA.
The major components of the wet plant are listed below and Trades personnel are required to maintain and assist in these areas as required:
- Milling, Flotation, Thickening, Filtering, Reagents, Carbon in Leach Circuit, Carbon Regeneration, Elution, Wet Screening, Residue Disposal, Water Services.
- PM inspections in all areas
- Operation of plant equipment (EWP/Forklift/Overhead Crane/Dogging/Basic Rigging/Hiab)
Who you are
With a Mechanical Trade Certificate, you will have previous maintenance experience working in a large process plant environment. Your ability to work well within a team and your positive mind set when dealing with work and people will be highly regarded.
To be successful for this role you will have the following:
- High level of communication skills - verbal and written
- Computer literacy
- Exposure to CMMS (SAP preferred)
- Knowledge and understanding of the statutory regulations relevant to safety and environment for the mining industry
- High Risk Licence: forklift, elevated work platform, dogging/rigging (preferred)
- Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights (preferred)
- Current "C" Class Drivers Licence
