As an Intake and Assessment Officer, you will work with individuals and families at risk of homelessness to prevent them from losing their access to secure accommodation and becoming homeless. This position will provide quality, shortterm supportto clients until they are able to be taken on by Case Managers and provided with intense case management to meet mutually agreed goals and sustainable outcomes.
A Working with Children check or ability to hold them is a requirement for this role.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in providing services to vulnerable individuals and families in a case work context. Evident in your application will be your ability to undertake complex assessment and brief intervention approach and proven understanding of the complexity of issues that contribute to homelessness.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with people in your team, community and internal/external stakeholders.
The Intake and Assessment role is a hands-on position where you can support people and families in the community. Excellent salary packaging options are available to increase your take home pay.
